International activities
Since it was founded, the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters has been an active member organisation of FIT (Fédération internationale des traducteurs), the international association of translators. The Association also belongs to CEATL (Conseil Européen des Associations de Traducteurs Littéraires), the pan?European association of literature translators, and to Nordiska Författar? och Översättarrĺdet, the Nordic council for authors and translators. Co?operation with many sister organisations abroad is brisk, and the Association is an active participant in several international collaboration projects.
